Why Should OST Dyno Tune Your Vehicle?

Whether your tuning needs are for the street, track or land speed racing - we can help. We tune most makes and models of cars on our “state of the art” Mustang AWD dyno. Specializing in tuning with: Diablosport CMR, HPTuners, FAST, BigStuff 3, Holley EFI, Haltech, SCT, MegaSquirt, and many other brands. We also provide specialized testing services for businesses or customers wishing to test products in a controlled environment. Because our dyno is equipped with a 600hp electric Eddy-Current brake we are able to hold any vehicle no matter how powerful at any speed or load percentage. This is done to simulate the vehicle's weight, wind resistance, and traveling up a grade; every situation your vehicle will encounter on the road can be created on our dyno. We believe this gives us an advantage when it comes to an accurate, real-world tune. Expect tuning to take approximately 4-5 hours for forced induction applications and 2-3 hours for N/A applications. If you have any questions do not hesitate to call. How Can You Best Prepare for a Dyno Session?

Below are a few things you should review before arrival at the shop:

  • Make sure your vehicle has the proper engine oil and transmission fluid levels. Below adequate levels could be catastrophic.
  • Remove your slicks if possible! The cross-hatching on dyno rollers will eat through slicks very quickly.
  • If you are upgrading parts that play a large rule in how your car runs (like fuel injectors) wait to swap them on the dyno. Putting larger injectors in your vehicle without proper tuning could destroy an engine quickly.
  • It's always a good idea to bring another set of spark plugs with you and a spare supercharger belt if applicable.
  • Remember your tuning module and related hardware if applicable.
